PHC Candidates: Nil
Candidates are required to apply online through the website of the Commission i.e http://www.jkpsc.nic.in. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted.
Eligibility Conditions:
The conditions of eligibility of a candidate shall be determined with reference to the relevant recruitment rules notified vide SRO - 359 dated 01.12.1988 and SRO -119 dated:06.03.1987 respectively and shall further be subject to the fulfilment of the following parameters:-
a) that the candidate is permanent resident of J&K State; and
b) he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or institute.
Note: A candidate will be eligible to get the benefit of reservation under a particular reserved category indicated by him in his/her application form. If a candidate indicates in his/her application form that he/she belongs to General category but subsequently writes to the Commission to change his/her category to a reserved one, such request shall not be entertained by the Commission. Similar principle will be followed for physically challenged categories also.
Age Limit: Age as on 1st January 2019:
a) Minimum = 18 Years
b) Maximum/ln-service = 40 Years
c) Physically Challenged candidates = 42 Years
d) Candidates belonging to RBA/ SC/ ST/ ALC/ SLC categories = 43 Years
e) Ex-serviceman = 48 Years
Scheme of Selection:
In accordance with the recruitment rules of the Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department, amended vide SRO-546 & SRO-547, the selection against the notified vacancies shall be made through a written test(objective type) only. The paper shall comprise of 120 questions of 1 mark each and the duration of the paper shall be 2 hours.
Date of examination: The examination shall be held on 26th May, 2019.
