Applications on prescribed application form are invited for the following posts available in the University of Kashmir to reach the office of the Deputy Registrar (Recruitment), Administrative Block, University of Kashmir, Srinagar-190006 by or before 10th May, 2016:-

The selection of posts at S. No. 01 & 02 shall be on tenure period of 03 years, which may be subsequently renewed as per statutes in force.

QUALIFICATIONS:-
1. Registrar/Controller of Examinations
a) A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade B in the UGC seven point scale
b) At least 15 years experience as Assistant Professor (Sr. Scale)/ Assistant Professor with 8 years experience in Associate Professor’s pay band alongwith experience in Educational Administration
OR
Comparable experience in research establishments and /or other institutions of Higher Education;
OR
15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post
2. Director, South Campus
a) A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC  seven point scale;
b) Ph.D, in any discipline;
c) At least 15 years of administrative and/or teaching experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent position;
OR
At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor with 8 years in Reader/Associate Professor’s grade alongwith experience in Educational Administration;
OR
Comparable experience in research establishments and /or other institutions of Higher Education.

3. Director, ITSS (Scientist G)
B.E./B.Tech or recognized equivalent qualifications with 55% marks, in the relevant field of technology with 16 years of experience in relevant field;
OR
M.Tech/M.E./B.E. with MBA or recognized equivalent qualifications with 55%
marks, in the relevant field of technology with 14 years of experience in relevant field;
OR
Ph.D. in the relevant field of technology having 55% marks at Masters Level, with 13
years of experience in the relevant field.

4. Director, IQAC
a) Master’s Degree with 55% marks in any discipline or its equivalent grade of B in
UGC seven point scale from a recognized University;
b) At least 15 years of administrative and/or teaching experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post or position;
OR
At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor with 8 years as Reader/Associate Professor (selection scale) alongwith experience in Educational Administration;
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education.

General Instructions:
1.Application Form available on the University website at www.kashmirunivrsity.net complete in all respects alongwith the Bank Draft of Rs. 750 (non-refundable) drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Kashmir, Srinagar and payable at Srinagar. Postal order will not be accepted. Cost of Application Form once deposited shall be non-refundable.
2. Candidates sending their Application Form by post should ensure that the envelope containing Application Form is super-scribed as “Application for the post of ……………………… advertised vide notice No. ………. Dated ………….should reach the office of the Deputy Registrar (Recruitment), University of Kashmir, Srinagar- 190006, J&K.;
3. Application Forms of candidates serving in various Government/semi- Government/Private organisations should be sent through their respective administrative authority concerned, by the University employees through the Registrar of the respective Universities. Applications not routed through the respective channels are liable to be rejected. Candidates may send advance copy of the Application form alongwith the requisite documents and fee, before the last date of receipt of Application Forms.
v) Candidates shall have to produce the original documents relating to their age, qualifications, experience, fitness and other claims whatsoever at the time of interview.
vi) Candidates invited for interview shall not be paid any TA and DA.
