Engagement of P.G candidates on Academic Arrangement in Higher Secondary Schools of District Samba


In pursuance to Government Order No. 1345-Edu of 1998 dated: 16-9-1998, Post Graduate candidates in required subjects were engaged on temporary requirement basis in District Samba during the academic year 2014-15. The terms of the contract for academic year have expired on 30-04-2015. Now, in pursuance of the above Govt. Order conveyed by Director School Education, Jammu vide No. DSEJ/Gaz/2531-37 dated: 24-5-2007, applications are hereby invited from the post graduate candidates in concerned discipline to meet out the temporary arrangement for teaching in 10+2 Schools in Summer Zone of District Samba for academic session 2015-16 till the posts are filled up by the Department/ State Govt. subject to the following conditions:-
1. That the candidate should be a permanent resident of J&K State.
2. That the candidate has passed the Post Graduation Degree in the relevant subject.
3. The degree obtained through Distance Education mode from off-campuses which have been established by the State University beyond their territorial jurisdiction shall not be recognized.
4. That the candidate fulfills the age requirements as on 01-01-2015.
5. That the candidates to be engaged shall furnish an affidavit duly attested by the 1st Class Magistrate to the effect that he/she will not Claim for his/ her permanent absorption on the basis of academic engagement.
6. That the candidate will be engaged on temporary basis of academic arrangement initially for a period of 59 days which can be extended depending upon the requirement of the institution.
7. That the candidate will be allowed to join in the school provided the post of lect. in the relevant subject is vacant.
8. That the engagement will be automatically ceased and no separate order is required as and when the permanent lecturer joins.
9. That the candidate who applies for winter zone is not applicable for summer zone.
10. That the applicant will submit their application on the prescribed format along with following certificates within a week time from the date of publication of this notification to the office of the U/S. No application form will be entertained after the expiry of the last date.
a) Date of Birth Certificate.
b) Permanent resident Certificate.
c) Qualification Certificate.
d) Affidavit/ Agreement/ MOU.
e) Physical Fitness Certificate.
f) Category certificate if any.
g) Previous Experience if any.
Note: The selection of the candidate will be made purely on the
Merit basis in all the concerned disciplines as per need.
