JAMMU AND KASHMIR STATE POWER DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED (jkspdc ) recruitment

Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited, a fast growing power generation utility with its registered office at Hotel Shaw inn, Boulevard, Srinagar, Kashmir and Camp Office at Ashok Magar Satwari, Jammu, invites applications on prescribed forms from the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir State for appointment to the posts of Assistant General Manager (Contract), Assistant General Manager (Arbitration) Assistant General Manager (Litigation), Assistant Manages (Legal), Chartered Account and Cost Accountant. The application forms duly filled-in in all respects should reach the Corporate office at Srinagar or Jammu as per the convenience of the applicants by or before 30th September 2015

2.2 Age as on 01.01.2015:
 (a) Minimum age: 18 years.
(b) Maximum age as under:
1. General category 40 years
 2. Physically Handicapped 42 years
3. Members of SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC 43 years
4. Candidates already in Government Services/PSUs 40 years
5. Ex-Servicemen 48 years

Note: candidates holding contractual appointment in the Government or in any PSU shall be deemed to be in-service candidate for upper age limit provided that their contractual appointment subsists on the date of the publication of this advertisement notice.

3. Such candidates who have already submitted their applications against the same posts advertised vide notification number JKSPDC/CJ/AD.Vi/EG-258/2694-2703 dated 22-11-2013 need not resubmit the applications. The list of such candidates is available on JKSPDCL corporate website www.jkspdc.nic.in along with discrepancy if any due to lack of documents or other reasons. Candidates against whom discrepancy has been shown shall furnish necessary clarifications/documents or resubmit their applications if they desire on or before the last date of 30th September 2015. 
4. Applicant should be a permanent resident of the State of J&K and should have a valid PRC (Permanent resident certificate). 
5. In-service candidates must apply through proper channel. However, an advance copy should reach the corporate office before the due date. 
6. Application forms can be downloaded from JKSPDCL corporate website www.jkspdc.nic.in under the "Appointments and Postings" section. Application forms are also available from JKSPDCL Corporate Office, Exhibition Road, Srinagar and at Camp office Ashok Nagar Satwari Jammu on working days from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM against a payment of Rs 200 in the shape of a DO drawn in favour of "General Manager (Accounts), Corporate Office and payable at Srinagar/Jammu". In case of forms downloaded from the website the cost of form in the shape of 0D shall be enclosed at the time of submission of forms in the manner specified above. 7. ATTESTED PHOTO COPIES OF CERTIFICATES TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION FORM: Besides photograph to be affixed on the application form, attested photo copies of the following certificates are to be attached with the application form.
 i. Date of Birth Certificate;
 ii. Permanent Resident Certificate; 
iii. Valid category certificate as per SRO 294 dated 21.1.0.2005 as amended from time to time. 
iv. Marks certificates of prescribed qualification. 
v. Experience certificate in proof of practice at BAR. 

8. Application forms, along with relevant documents, should be submitted in the JKSPDC Corporate office Srinagar/Camp Office Jammu in person or by registered post/courier. However, JKSPDCL shall not be responsible for any postal delays or loss of application. Kindly note that submission of application, in the form of scanned copy through email, shall NOT be entertained. 
9. The JKSPDC Management reserves the right to reject any or all applications or cancel or defer or annul the selection process of any category of post without assigning any reason. 
10. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of weightage assigned to merit obtained in qualifying examination and experience as the case may be and called for interview in the ratio of 1:10 (no of posts: no of candidates).
