Jobs in GMC Jammu for Registrar/ Demonstrator posts

Applications on the prescribed form are invited from the in-service / Non PSC doctors who are permanent residents of J&K State for the posts of Registrar/Demonstrator in the following disciplines of this college on tenure basis for a period of three years:-

DISCIPLINE:

1.CD & TB (Registrar)

2. Pharmacology (Demonstrator)

3. P &SM (Field Demonstrator)

4. Respiratory Physiology (CD & TB) ( Demonstrator)

Important Dates:

Sale of Application Form from:   02-May-2016 to 16-May-2016.

Last date of receipt of Application Form:- 06-June-2016.

Application procedure and fee:

The Interested candidates applying for the above mentioned posts should take the application form from the Administrative Section of the Principal, GMC, Jammu after production of Bank Draft worth Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) from J&K Bank, payable in favour of Principal, GMC, Jammu.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 plus grade pay as applicable

Qualifications:-

MBBS from the recognized university,

Preference will be given to the Post Graduate candidates in the concerned subject.

CONDITIONS AND ELIGIBILITY:-

a. For In-Service candidates:-

1. The in-service doctor shall carry the pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 plus grade pay as admissible under rules.

2. The in-service doctor shall be allowed to participate in the selection process only with the prior permission of the Administrative Department. For the purpose, they should route their application forms through the Administrative Department. No advance copy shall be entertained.

b.             For Non-PSC candidates:-

1. The Non-PSC doctors shall be engaged, for a specified period , on consolidated pay equal to basic pay for the post of Assistant Surgeon In the Health Department as Per SRO-93 of 2009 dated 15-04-2009 plus dearness allowance. Maximum age for eligibility to apply shall be 50 years as on 06-06-2016.

c.             General conditions of eligibility for all candidates:-

1.Those doctors who were earlier appointed as Registrar/ Demonstrator in Govt. Medical College, Jammu but had left services before completing their tenure need not apply.

2. Those doctors who have already completed their tenure-ship as Registrar/ Demonstrator in any discipline need not to apply and their application forms shall not be considered. However, this restriction shall not be applicable in respect of such doctors who have done their tenure- ship in the discipline prior to the passing of their post-graduation.

d.             The application form should be accompanied with attested copies of the following Documents/

testimonials

1.             Attempt certificate, 1st, 2^nd, Pre-Final and Final MBBS examinations issued by the concerned - University

2.   MBBS, MD/MS Degree/Diploma in the concerned subject and Internship completion certificate.

3.  Physical active field service certificate after PG/ Rural service certificate prior to PG , if any issued by the Director, Health Services, Jammu/Srinagar in respect of the in-service doctors.

4.   Distinction/ National Scholarship/ Honours/ Medals/ Academic Merit certificates.

5. House Job experience certificate issued by the Principal concerned or equivalent recognized authority..

6. Professional publication in a standard Medical journal, If any.

7.  Affidavit duly attested by the 1^st class Judicial Magistrate declaring that the applicant has not done Registrar-ship/Demonstrator-ship/ Sr. Residency earlier within or outside the J&K State.

The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of combined academic merit and performance in the interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in interview.
