Applications on prescribed format are invited from the interested candidates for engagement of contractual faculty for the following departments on purely contract basis of fifty nine days with usual break of two working days for Autumn session 2016:-

Application must be submitted by the candidates on the prescribed format (available on our website), duly signed by him and only through email from the candidates own email-id. No hard copy of application is required.

Details are as under :-

A. Essential Qualification :-

A.1. For Engineering

At least Masters Degree in Engineering with first class or CGPA of 6.5/10 at both Bachelors and Masters level in appropriate branch of Engineering.

A.2. For Humanities Department :-

a)Ph.D/M.phil in English from a recognized university with 60% marks in thepreceding degree.

b)Experience in teaching English language and communication Skills at UG/PGlevel shall be preferred.

A.3. For Science:-

Ph.D./M.Phill with first class at the preceding degree.

B. Remuneration:-

B.1. Rs. 45,000/- for M.E/ M. Tech/M.Phil

B.2. Rs. 57,000/- for Ph.D

C. Documents to be enclosed :-

Only copies of the degrees mentioned in the format are to be enclosed. No other certificate or document should be attached. However the candidate shall have to present all the original documents at the time of interview along with hard copy of application.

D. Reservation :- As per G.O.I. Rules.

Application complete in all respects with attested copies of required certificates should reach the office of the concerned Head of the Department latest by 14-July-2016 upto 5.00 p.m. through e-mail only on the e-mail addresses mentioned against each department.

List of eligible candidates after short listing will be available on the website of the Institute on 15-07-2016. No applications after the last date and time will be entertained.

Interview shall be held on 21st & 22nd July 2016, from 9.00 am onwards at the Institute campus at Hazratbal Srinagar.

Detailed schedule of interview shall be notified on the website subsequently.

E. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
